The place was very nice. Picturesque, felt like a dream. Paradise on the cold coast. The only downside was the amount of rules and procedures that needed to be followed. The room was also prone to getting musty so the sliding door needed to be open basically 24/7. Other than that the view was beautiful, easy beach access, and things of interest were very close by. I would stay there again any day of the year

Leave the phone alone except for some pictures. Enjoy magnificent surroundings.

Was awesome, close to everything from astoria to Cannon Beach.

Wonderful stay! It was PERFECT for two adults and two children. The kids loved having their own loft space. The view is worth a million bucks! Dated decor, but clean and cozy. I could have sat their all day in the recliner looking at that view of the ocean! We hope to return!

Pleasant spacious lodging. Very comfortable recliners to watch tv in front of gas fireplace and also enjoy the view of the ocean. Perfect location with the golf course across the street and close to Seaside. Great lighting in the bathroom with a spacious shower and lots if hot water. A plus was the handheld shower and extra towels.

It’s better than expected! 10/10 absolutely loved it 😍

This was our first time staying at Gearhart and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is so cozy and made us never want to leave. The beds are comfy & everything seemed decently clean. The only critiques was minor scratches and broken window screen but it was fine. I would most definitely rebook this condo again!

You can’t beat the views and location of this property! We loved seeing and hearing the ocean through the balcony. The beach is very close and my kids and I walked to it many times during our trip. We also loved walking down the road to the local bakery and ice cream shop. The owners were great at communicating and responding when I had questions. If you’re thinking of staying here just a couple things I want to share: the first being that there is no air conditioning or fans, so if you get warm your best best is to open the balcony (there is a screen door to keep bugs out) to let some breeze come in and cool you down. The second is that there is a laundromat onsite to wash your clothes, but there is no change machine. The front desk can break small bills in to change for you. It’s $1.50 to use the washing machine and $1.00 to use the dryer. There isn’t detergent provided but you can buy a small bottle at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

This beautiful condo was the perfect home away from home! We felt so comfortable and relaxed the entire stay. The oversized recliners were perfect for kicking back and catching a movie after a long rainy day. The kids absolutely loved having their own twin beds in the loft—it was their favorite part! Kitchen is well stocked and there is salt and pepper! The pool and hot tub were great, though I wish I had known to grab towels from the office before making the trek over (it was pretty chilly and wet out!). We would totally stay here again and can’t recommend it enough.

Overall a great stay

The location is great. Balcony overlooking the beach. Check in was great, they were very pleasant. Parking was difficult, it was a holiday weekend. This particular unit had an off smell and we woke up stuffy every morning. There was mold growing on the wall in the bedroom. Cut our trip short due to this.

The walls were so thin I could hear someone cough in the next condo or upstairs. If there would have been more kids next to me it would have been very noisy. I had wished that the tv had better channels as I missed the Mariner games. I understand that I didn't go to the beach to watch tv but at night I do.

From the moment we entered our weekend oasis, we were delighted! Straight through from the front door to the view of the glorious Pacific Ocean can be seen. The bed is quite comfortable, and is a true King size bed. Everything was decorated nicely, and the pair of La-Z Boy recliners did not disappoint after a long day at the coast. We will definitely rent this space again!

Better than renting a hotel!
-
We loved it! Gorgeous view, walking distance to the beach, comfortable room. We’ll be back!

Due to booking confusions, we stayed in a different unit. The master bedrooms of all of these units overlook the walkway and parking lot, so that is something to consider.
-
Comfy condo with a great ocean view. If you like to golf this is the place to stay. Just down the road to Astoria or Seaside, and right across the street from McMenanins. Two nearby golf courses.

Needs care. Carpeting old and shabby and tearing away from tack strips. Curtains in loft upstairs off rod and just hanging. Management at check in very u friendly and not helpful. Internet terrible as it kept disconnecting. I had the feeling no staff person cared about any of these issues. The view was lovely and a nice spacious deck. Workable kitchen although not enough dishwasher soap, no napkins, spices, or things I usually find in such units with a kitchen. Needs space to hang beach towels and swimsuits.
